Some people love us for who we are, and others love us for what they can get from us, and we can relate to God the same way. In Acts 8, Simon the sorcerer wanted the Holy Spirit's power for status and recognition, while the Ethiopian official came to Jesus simply to know Him and went on his way rejoicing. Pastor Rob challenges us to seek Christ for who He is rather than for what's in His hand: to know Him and the power of His resurrection, and to live as disciples who say, "It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me."
